Over the past 5 years, I’ve lost 100 pounds and gotten into the best mental and physical shape of my life.  

When I started my fitness journey, I didn’t realize how much it would impact my professional life as an online entrepreneur.

Today I recognize that these three key lessons I learned from working out have helped me succeed as an online entrepreneur:

  1. Consistency Is Key If You Want To See Positive Results. Creating a system that I enjoy and can repeat daily has been key to my success with my fitness and online business. Establishing a consistent workout routine did wonders for my health and helped me realize the importance of creating a consistent routine for my online business. It’s so essential to establish a routine and stick with it. Consistent effort over time is what leads to significant growth.
  2. Rest Is Extremely Important. After a challenging strength workout, my muscles need time to recover in order to rebuild and grow. The same is true for my online business. It’s important to avoid falling into the trap of constantly working. Taking time to recharge your batteries is crucial for your mental health and productivity. For me, this means taking a day off from working out each week and dedicating that time to self-care. Taking a day or two off from working on my online business always helps me come back feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the next task.
  3. It Has To Be Fun If You’re Going To Stick With It. There’s no way I could have stuck with my fitness routine this long if I didn’t find a way to work out that I love. Similarly, if I don’t enjoy the work I’m doing for my online business, staying motivated and productive is much harder. While not every task will always be fun, finding ways to make your work more enjoyable is crucial to your long-term success. This might mean outsourcing tasks you don’t enjoy or finding creative ways to make your work more exciting and engaging. When working out or working on your business is more enjoyable, it no longer feels like a chore, and you’ll be much more likely to put in the effort necessary to achieve your goals.

The lessons I’ve learned from working out have been invaluable in my journey as an online entrepreneur.

Consistency, rest, and fun are all key elements to creating a sustainable routine that has led to my long-term success. Whether you’re just starting your fitness journey or your online business, these principles can help you reach your goals and achieve success.

Remember to stay consistent, take time to rest and recharge, and find ways to make your work enjoyable.

With these three principles in mind, you can achieve just about anything you want.
