Being an online entrepreneur is exciting but can also be incredibly frustrating.
Whenever I feel frustrated with my online business, I quickly re-read The Greatest Salesman In The World* by Og Mandino.
First published in 1968, this is one of the best-selling books on sales and persuasion of all time. This short, enjoyable, easy-to-read story follows the journey of the greatest salesman in the world as he shares ten “ancient scrolls” full of wisdom with his apprentice.
If I find myself feeling frustrated with my business, it’s almost always because I’ve fallen out of alignment with at least one of these important reminders:
Reminder #1: Good Habits Are The Key To Success.
Reminder #2: Greet Each Day With Love & A Positive Attitude.
Reminder #3: Do Not Stop Until You Succeed.
Reminder #4: Embrace, Love, & Sell Your Uniqueness.
Reminder #5: Live Each Day As If It Is Your Last.
Reminder #6: Master Your Emotions.
Reminder #7: Laugh At The World.
Reminder #8: Do Not Commit The Crime Of Aiming Too Low.
Reminder #9: Act Now.
Reminder #10: Pray Regularly For Guidance (Not Results.)
After reading the story, it’s usually obvious to me which of these ten reminders I’ve fallen out of alignment with.
By shifting my current mindset surrounding those reminders, I can get back on track and feel much better quickly.
